Skip permit: Windsor and Maidenhead
If the skip sits on a public road in the Windsor and Maidenhead area, you need a highway skip licence. On the council page checked 12 Sep 2026: admin + 1st week £90. registered skip companies only. A skip wholly on private land you control does not need this licence.
You usually do not apply as a householder. Tell the hire firm at booking and give them the notice the council asks for. Do not put the skip on the pavement unless the licence allows it.
