Skip hire in Church Village

First published 11 September 2026. Last checked 11 September 2026.

Church Village sits in Rhondda Cynon Taf between Llantrisant and Pontypridd. A skip on the public highway needs RCT’s skip permit – the company applies. A skip wholly on a private drive you control does not. This page is placement and waste rules, not a list of firms.

Skip Clerk does not invent provider rankings, phone numbers or “top skips in Church Village”. Check the carrier’s CBDU number, then ask who will apply for the road licence.

Which authority

Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council is the highway authority. Full permit detail: Skip permit: Rhondda Cynon Taf Council. On that page (checked 11 September 2026): £41.60 for 14 days, minimum two working days, company only. Nation map: Skip hire in Wales.

Private drive vs road

Local placement note

Estate roads and school-run pinch points near the Village Centre make long roadside stays awkward. Prefer a private hardstanding if you have one; if the skip must sit on the road, give the firm RCT’s two working days and budget the £41.60 / 14-day fee even for a shorter stay.

How to hire without a fake directory

  1. Decide the size from the job – What size skip do I need?.
  2. If it has to sit on the road, tell the firm which principal council applies and ask them to apply. Use the notice period on the permit page.
  3. Ask for the waste-carrier number and check it – how to check a waste carrier licence.
  4. Keep plasterboard, electricals and sofas out of a mixed skip unless the operator says otherwise – what you cannot put in a skip.

Skip Clerk has no hire partners yet and no prices for skip hire on this page. The £41.60 / 14 days figure is the council’s published permit fee, not a hire quote. When we add a booking link it will be marked as an affiliate link.
