Skip hire in Brynteg

First published 11 September 2026. Last checked 11 September 2026.

Brynteg sits in Wrexham County Borough south-east of Wrexham town. A skip on the public highway needs Wrexham’s Section 139 skip permit. A skip wholly on a private drive you control does not. This page is placement and waste rules, not a list of firms.

Skip Clerk does not invent provider rankings, phone numbers or “top skips in Brynteg”. Check the carrier’s CBDU number, then ask who will apply for the road licence.

Which authority

Wrexham County Borough Council is the highway authority. Full permit detail: Skip permit: Wrexham Council. On that page (checked 11 September 2026): £65 for up to 7 days then £58 each extra week, at least seven working days; city-centre restricted hours. Nation map: Skip hire in Wales.

Private drive vs road

Local placement note

Residential streets off the B5605 can be narrow for a full-size builders’ skip. Prefer a private drive; if the firm must use the road, Wrexham wants at least seven working days and charges £65 for up to seven days (£58 each extra week).

How to hire without a fake directory

  1. Decide the size from the job – What size skip do I need?.
  2. If it has to sit on the road, tell the firm which principal council applies and ask them to apply. Use the notice period on the permit page.
  3. Ask for the waste-carrier number and check it – how to check a waste carrier licence.
  4. Keep plasterboard, electricals and sofas out of a mixed skip unless the operator says otherwise – what you cannot put in a skip.

Skip Clerk has no hire partners yet and no prices for skip hire on this page. The £65 / up to 7 days figure is the council’s published permit fee, not a hire quote. When we add a booking link it will be marked as an affiliate link.
