Skip hire in Denbigh

First published 11 September 2026. Last checked 11 September 2026.

Denbigh is the historic county town of Denbighshire. A skip on the public highway needs Denbighshire’s skip permit – hire companies only. A skip wholly on a private drive you control does not. This page is placement and waste rules, not a list of firms.

Skip Clerk does not invent provider rankings, phone numbers or “top skips in Denbigh”. Check the carrier’s CBDU number, then ask who will apply for the road licence.

Which authority

Denbighshire County Council is the highway authority. Full permit detail: Skip permit: Denbighshire Council. On that page (checked 11 September 2026): £38.18 for up to 7 days or £102.97 per month; hire companies only. Nation map: Skip hire in Wales.

Private drive vs road

Local placement note

Streets inside and below the castle walls can be narrow. Prefer a private hardstanding outside the tightest historic core if you can, and ask the firm to use Denbighshire’s skip permit form rather than a neighbouring authority.

How to hire without a fake directory

  1. Decide the size from the job – What size skip do I need?.
  2. If it has to sit on the road, tell the firm which principal council applies and ask them to apply. Use the notice period on the permit page.
  3. Ask for the waste-carrier number and check it – how to check a waste carrier licence.
  4. Keep plasterboard, electricals and sofas out of a mixed skip unless the operator says otherwise – what you cannot put in a skip.

Skip Clerk has no hire partners yet and no prices for skip hire on this page. The £38.18 / up to 7 days figure is the council’s published permit fee, not a hire quote. When we add a booking link it will be marked as an affiliate link.
