Skip hire in Pembroke Dock

First published 11 September 2026. Last checked 11 September 2026.

Pembroke Dock sits on the Cleddau under Pembrokeshire County Council. A skip on the public highway needs Pembrokeshire’s street-works skip charge. A skip wholly on a private drive you control does not. This page is placement and waste rules, not a list of firms.

Skip Clerk does not invent provider rankings, phone numbers or “top skips in Pembroke Dock”. Check the carrier’s CBDU number, then ask who will apply for the road licence.

Which authority

Pembrokeshire County Council is the highway authority. Full permit detail: Skip permit: Pembrokeshire Council. On that page (checked 11 September 2026): £64.00 per month or part (2026–27 Street Works fees); confirm notice when booking. Nation map: Skip hire in Wales.

Private drive vs road

Local placement note

Dock-town streets and approaches toward the ferry and marina can be busy with HGVs. Prefer a private hardstanding if you have one; if the skip must sit on the road, ask the firm to confirm Pembrokeshire notice when booking and to budget £64.00 for the month or part-month (2026–27).

How to hire without a fake directory

  1. Decide the size from the job – What size skip do I need?.
  2. If it has to sit on the road, tell the firm which principal council applies and ask them to apply. Use the notice period on the permit page.
  3. Ask for the waste-carrier number and check it – how to check a waste carrier licence.
  4. Keep plasterboard, electricals and sofas out of a mixed skip unless the operator says otherwise – what you cannot put in a skip.

Skip Clerk has no hire partners yet and no prices for skip hire on this page. The £64 / month or part figure is the council’s published permit fee, not a hire quote. When we add a booking link it will be marked as an affiliate link.
