Skip permit: Clackmannanshire Council
If the skip sits on a Clackmannanshire public road or footway, you need permission under the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, section 85 – not Highways Act 1980. The Roads and Transportation fee scale (valid from 1 April 2026; checked 11 September 2026) publishes £32.00 per week for a skip permit. Applications must arrive at least 7 days before occupation with a plan or sketch.
No tacit consent. Occupation without written permission is an offence. Recheck the fee scale on the day you book.
